Job Title: Mobile Repair Technician – In Transit Repair (ITR)
Location: NEWARK,NJ Area
The Repair Technician is responsible for performing mobile vehicle repairs at designated or requested locations within the Hamilton Township market area. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. The technician will work closely with internal ITR teams, vendors, and location personnel to ensure timely and accurate claim completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site vehicle repairs in a mobile capacity.
- Company Vehicle
- Use appropriate PPE and comply with all site-specific safety requirements.
- Accurately clock in/out using the Workday system during assigned shifts.
- Work within approved business hours; obtain prior approval for overtime.
- Attend scheduled Microsoft Teams meetings.
- Follow PTO request and approval procedures.
- Respond to internal communications within the same business day.
- Utilize Smartsheet to process and document claims per customer requirements.
- Refer to process documentation or seek guidance for unclear repair situations.
- Maintain and manage repair equipment, including:
- Battery recharge and testing tools
- Tire changing equipment (jack stands, jacks, tools)
- Company vehicle (including scheduled maintenance)
- Software/firmware updates for programming tools
- Report any issues or damage involving company vehicles or equipment immediately.
- Maintain open communication with management regarding daily tasks and scheduling.
- Take ownership of open claims and ensure all safety and process protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Experience in light mechanical repairs and mobile service work.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet or willingness to learn.
- Strong time management and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Clean Driving Record and valid Driver's license

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
The starting compensation is expected to be:
$19.00 - $22.00We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
