The Strategic Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across the organization. This position is responsible for analyzing and optimizing financial performance, pricing strategies, supply chain logistics, product, and service offerings etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support various business units.

As a Strategic Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst, your essential job functions will include the following:

Gather, Manage, and Understand Data:

  • Define the goals of analysis activities and coordinate the collection of appropriate data from databases.
  • Understand and assess business situations from an information perspective.
  • Evaluate, improve, and build on existing information schemas to make operations data accessible and useful across enterprise.
  • Collaborate with relevant functional teams to identify and pursue performance opportunities.

Conduct Analysis and Reporting:

  • Perform detailed analysis to support planning, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost saving and revenue enhancement across different functional areas.
  • Develop and implement pricing models and strategies, monitoring and adjusting based on performance metrics and market conditions.
  • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, collaborating with procurement, logistics, and inventory management teams.
  • Evaluate product and service performance, conducting market research and customer feedback and sales analysis to inform development and enhancements.

Support Operations and Decision-Making:

  • Interpret reports and assist the field and management in understanding underlying data and analysis.
  • Maintain and audit critical data through the appropriate IT systems and departments, supporting the account maintenance process.
  • Take ownership of assigned areas for reporting and analysis, acting as the internal end-user point-of-contact for ad hoc information requests.
  • Assemble and distribute operational reports and performance metrics, supporting the automation of reporting and the building of new metrics and dashboards.
  • Assist internal users with data questions and issues that need resolution.

Facilitate Implementation and Improvement:

  • Work collaboratively with different teams to analyze data and determine implications for business strategies.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of new capabilities, assisting with initiatives to enhance, improve, or correct system functionality.
  • Participate in the development and pilot of processes, approaches, and methods to determine long-term solutions
  • Facilitate training, group meetings, coordinate feedback, testing, and promotion in support of projects.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Analytics, or related fields. Graduate degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience or advanced degree with 2 years of experience in an analytical role
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple changing priorities effectively

Physical Demands:

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Travel as needed (~10%)

Drug Policy:

Dent Wizard is a drug-free environment and applicants and employees are subject to Dent Wizards Drug Testing Policy.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. This position is primarily paid on highly incentivized commission structure.

The starting compensation is expected to be:

$72,160.00-$100,000.00
