As Senior Manager, Accounting Operations for Dent Wizard, your essential job functions will include the following:

The Senior Manager, Accounting Operations collaborates cross-functionally across the business to drive efficiencies and support business transformation initiatives.  This position partners with the Development team to support acquisitions and integrations by driving the accounting for the transaction and collaborating with the acquired business.  The Senior Manager, Accounting Operations facilitates the capital expenditure process to ensure thorough analysis and approvals to support business growth and margin improvement.  Initiatives around Keys Operations and other business functions to improve processes and ensure accuracy will be an ongoing focus for this role.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Keys, Field Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, and IT to optimize finance related operational decisions, ensure appropriate financial/accounting rigor, introduce process discipline as needed, and safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately accounted for with the appropriate reserve calculations.  Support physical inventories and cycle count processes, as assigned, to ensure adequate controls and existence.
  • Facilitate the capital project requisition process for compliance with policies and the capital budget and ensure purchase order usage throughout the business.  Provide reporting for analysis to FP&A for business development. 
  • Act as primary liaison for all related merger and acquisition functions in partnership with Dent Wizard Development Team. Partner with finance, operations, IT and business functional leads to drive accounting operations functions from initial term sheet through diligence, close, valuation, and financial reporting.  Collaborate to integrate acquisitions and ensure successful on-boarding.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and processes to assure control and protection of assets, accurate reporting of financial position, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Assists in the monthly financial close process to assure the timely, accurate preparation of financial statements consistent with U.S. GAAP and all Company policies and procedures. Participate in management meetings to review financial results.
  • Assist with the coordination of the quarterly reviews and year-end audits with the external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, recommend appropriate solutions, and support implementation of improvements.
  • Perform ongoing process assessments and identify and implement improvements to policies, procedures, internal controls, and tools that realize greater operating efficiencies while maintaining accuracy of the financial records.
  • Design, monitor and report on performance metrics for accounting operations and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal team members and cross-functional teams Enterprise-wide, utilize strong business acumen and communication skills to effectively facilitate information flow between cross-functional business partners and the Finance organization.

  • Provide direction and leadership to accounting team through influence.
  • Communicate operational priorities, objectives, and goals.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting required. Advanced degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Experience with a major ERP system required (i.e., Oracle, NetSuite, JDE)
  • Experience in developing, improving, and implementing financial information systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with individuals at all organization levels.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Job Requirements
