As a People Data Analyst your essential job functions will include the following:
Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, primarily as it relates talent acquisition and retention, to provide insights that support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves working closely with stakeholders by leveraging data and multiple visualization platforms to identify key metrics, develop reporting frameworks, and produce actionable insights that drive improvements in HR processes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Collect and consolidate data from various sources, including Workday, employee surveys, performance evaluations, job boards, market data, etc.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, using statistical techniques and data visualization tools.
- Talent Acquisition ROI: Track and measure the effectiveness of Talent Acquisition initiatives and marketing expenditures. Create and maintain a financial model to continuously evaluate investments as business and market needs shift to maximize value. Leverage this model to optimize the talent acquisition funnel and marketing investments.
- Consistently assess the economic effectiveness and return on investment of Talent Acquisition and Training practices.
- Data Tools: Fully leverage the capabilities of the available tools and applications; identify and research other tools or platforms, as needed.
- Reporting Deliverables: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards, highlighting key performance indicators and metrics related to employee turnover, recruitment, retention, diversity, and other relevant areas.
- Predictive Modeling: Build predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes, such as employee attrition and workforce demographics.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data through regular audits and data validation processes. Contribute and adhere to defined metrics and data governance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR Business Partners, department managers, and senior leadership to understand their data needs and provide insights that support their decision-making processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine HR analytics processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to PII, data privacy, security, and compliance, ensuring HR data practices and distribution align with internal policy, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Individual Development
- Maintain awareness of current trends in talent acquisition and retention with a focus on Workday product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
- Examine industry trends in talent acquisition and retention analytics and partner on solutions to incorporate best practices back into operations.
- Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR functional/process knowledge and HRIS application/technology knowledge.
- Participate in Workday user group meetings/conferences.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably in a human resources or workforce analytics role.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, or SPSS, as well as data visualization tools such as, Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and HR processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and experience working with sensitive HR data is a plus.
- Capable of producing ad-hoc work with quick turn-around and high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent project management, workflow, planning and organizational skills.
- Able to adapt to ongoing and fast change; takes initiative and works well independently and in a team environment.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. This position is primarily paid on highly incentivized commission structure.
