NetSuite Developer is the subject matter expert (SME) of all aspects of the NetSuite ecosystem, including system architecture, design, administration, workflow, SuiteBundles, Suite Script, maintenance, performance optimization, versioning, configuration, customization, and integrations. The role supports parallel teams with developmental research, scope, design, and implementations driven by business goals. This role partners with multiple business units including IT leadership to scope, design, develop, customize, evolve, optimize, and support technology to meet the organization’s growth mission.

The NetSuite Developer/Engineer focus will include but extend beyond platform configuration to crafting sophisticated, code-based solutions within the NetSuite ecosystem, which serves as the heart of Dent Wizard’s financials as well as an ERP and Inventory system for our major business channels. Collaborating closely with NetSuite Administrators, IT Developers, Project Mangers, Scrum Masters, and business units to translate business needs into efficient, effective and scalable NetSuite solutions. The role is required to learn and understand Dent Wizard’s complex business and technical environments surrounding the platform.  They will aim to improve the technology platform meeting business use cases and project related enhancements while mitigating disruption to the end users and delivering highly customized development solutions for the organization’s mission critical NetSuite system.

Operations (100%)

  • Primary trusted hands-on subject matter expert for the NetSuite ecosystem.
  • Analyze complex custom Workflows and SuiteScripts and revise, optimize, or replace.
  • Understand complex business challenges and analyze complex business process requirements translating both into customized technology solutions
  • Develop, version, update, and optimize NetSuite system processes, logic, and code
  • Create and communicate user training for system, feature, release, and enhancements.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of NetSuite ecosystem functionality including customizations, transaction processing, workflows, scripts, objects, and integrations.
  • Advises business to recommend, create, and deliver best-in-class technology solutions utilizing new/existing system features, functionality, logic, SuiteBundles, and code
  • Provide break/fix, troubleshooting, and top SME support to IT and system users.
  • Partners with IT departments, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure business requirements are realized.
  • Demo improvements, lead User Acceptance Testing, to achieve project deliverables.
  • Monitor software and other third-party SLA performance and contract compliance.
  • Team player minded both with business units, IT partners, and peer administrators.
  • Mentoring and teaching others.
  • Monitor promoted code and use Application Performance Management
  • Analysis of issues and initiation of issue management processes.
  • Assess alternatives, analyze pros/cons, and recommend best solution approach.
  • Estimating and solution roadmap planning.
  • Write effective tests and appropriately integrate testing into the development process.
  • Develop an understanding of Dent Wizard business processes affected by development.
  • Learn and understand security standards with organization to be applied to solutions.
  • Professional code writing skills in NetSuite.
  • Update and build SuiteScripts (Map-Reduce and User event scripts)
  • Update and build Restlets and Suitelets
  • Develop and support integrations to third parties
  • Participate in system configuration, security, and user access audits.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 7+ years of experience in NetSuite development, design, and documentation
  • Netsuite certifications (Suite Foundation, Suite Administrator, Suite Cloud Developer)
  • Champion of NetSuite ERP, SuiteBundle, and Suite Script best practices
  • 5+ years SuiteScripts (Creating, versioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing)
  • Proficient with NetSuite, OneWorld, Fixed Assets, SuiteAnalytics Connect, SFTP Connector, Coupa P2P + Expense SuiteBundle, Advanced Electronic Bank Payments, Avalara Avatax OneWorld, and related common SuiteBundle apps
  • Proficient with creating and supporting various systems integrations with NetSuite
  • Proficient leveraging Sandboxes for development, staging, and production environments
  • Proficient with QA, regression and user acceptance testing best practices
  • Versioning, change management and production control best practices for promotions
  • Comfort leveraging third party vendors to obtain system quotes and technical support.
  • Proficient with NetSuite Cloud, performance optimization, workflow building, concurrency, and prioritization best practices
  • Proficient in creating reports, dashboards, workflows, scripts, saved search queries, screens, fields and objects within NetSuite platform.
  • Proficient with SuiteQL
  • Understand and experience with performance and concurrency issues
  • Experience with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Banking, Inventory, Reports / Analytics / Suite GL, Financial modules in Netsuite

Drug Policy

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

The starting compensation is expected to be:

$107,000-$130,000
