IT Project Manager

Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing IT business applications throughout the product/project lifecycle.  This includes gathering internal/external customer requirements, defining the product roadmap and working with various stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.     Role is responsible for successful project coordination, prioritization and the on-time/on-budget management of projects and enhancements. 

Role must have a thorough understanding of Project Management concepts and techniques and should have the skills to evaluate project feasibility, establish priority, and define, plan and execute the activities necessary to reach project objectives.  This role will serve as consultant, organizer, facilitator, planner, analyst, and problem solver.

Ideal candidates will have both a strong business acumen and an understanding of the issues involved in the creation and management of technology products.  Highly developed relationship management, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.


  • Defines IT product roadmaps, working with end users and internal corporate groups to ensure goals are in alignment.
  • Identifies opportunities with existing customers in which technology could be used to improve relationships.
  • Educates customer facing employees on how to fully utilize current portfolio of IT business applications.
  • Works closely with core services product managers to ensure consistency and adherence to Dent Wizard product lifecycle.
  • Identifies enhancements for existing business applications that can streamline & optimize business processes.
  • Monitors metrics, problems, trends, etc, in order to determine solutions, required process changes, etc. that will make the function more efficient.
  • Works with help desk to define run books for ongoing product support and sustainability
  • Oversees preparation of project plans and schedules for significant application systems development, enhancement, and maintenance efforts.
  • Communicates regularly with internal and external customers.
  • Solicits input from stakeholders regarding any change requests.
  • Simultaneously manages work across multiple streams of the project lifecycle, which includes Requirements Definition and Business Alignment, Systems Development and configuration, data and systems coordination, communications, end user adoption and training.
  • Performs product demos to customers and internal employees.
  • Coordinates activities between internal and external technology owners and service providers.
  • Assists with the definition, valuation and prioritization of upcoming projects.
  • Assists with administrative tasks and projects, which include:  providing technical support, resolving point of contact for issues, creating reports, monitoring service levels, serving as interface for customer services issues, etc.
  • Runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products.
  • Stays current with mobile and industry related technologies.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of Dent Wizard business applications, product suites, customers and reporting capabilities.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in Product Management and/or IT Product Development.
  • Demonstrated success defining, managing and launching technology products.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Strong leadership ability with a track record of developing people and achieving challenging objectives.
  • Project management experience in delivering large-scale projects; experience must cover the full life cycle including initiation, discovery, design, development, testing, delivery/deployment and post-deployment support.
  • Experience managing or directing employees, contractors and consultants in a project team setting.

    • Technical Sales
  • Knowledge of Change Management methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience in writing and managing business specifications, technical specifications, project plans, and other project documentation.
  • Excellent people, teamwork skills, and customer service.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask successfully.
